enviroCar is an open Citizen Science Platform for traffic monitoring and environment :

an Android App : for collecting car sensor data

cloud upload : a data store for managing & sharing enviroCar data

tools for analyzing and visualizing enviroCar tracks

The data collected and analysed by enviroCar is available as Open Data. The access is standardized and described below. EnviroCar is made up of several components which are also available as Open Source.

Documentation

The enviroCar server API supports selective access to anonymized tracks using the HTTP protocol. You can access tracks, measurements and relevant statistics. In addition, spatial and temporal filters are available which help access data of interest.

enviroCar Source Code

All compontents of the enviroCar platform are available as Open Source on GitHub and can be used and extended.

Your uploaded tracks are a part of the enviroCar community’s data set. Taking our privacy policy into account, we offer several ways to access these tracks.
